What do guests think about this lodging establishment?

The accommodation in Zahara seems to be a mixed bag according to the reviews. The hotel's central location and spacious public areas are appreciated, along with large modern rooms and comfortable beds. However, some guests had issues with the bedroom lighting, which made it difficult for them to sleep. There were also complaints about expensive parking, although an alternative beach car park was suggested. The staff's service received negative feedback, with some guests feeling that they were not cared for. Communication barriers were noted due to limited English spoken at reception. On the positive side, the hotel's Spanish decor, proximity to the beach, and good breakfast were praised. Overall, while there were some areas for improvement, the hotel had its merits, making it a decent choice for visitors.

We tried to have dinner here. No English spoken. Very small servings, although I asked for the volume. To get filled we had to move to another place, after they had time for us to pay.

The hotel rents out the restaurant for public events. If these include children as “comuniones” often do expect packs of noisy children taking over the pool and jacuzzi (see picture). Not nice if you were hoping to relax.

Be very careful when you make your reservation. There is a "hosteleria" also, somehow related to this hotel, by the SAME NAME, but it is NOT the same place!! They say you can use the facilities such as the pool when you stay there, but it is absolutely

We stayed in the hostel across the road but had access to the hotel amenities. Clean rooms, although very basic and small. Friendly staff. Great location for both the town and the sand dunes.
